the team's opinion: If you know the Alexander Pedals brand, you will know that the Quadrant is still a very special pedal. Indeed, this American manufacturer offers original and quite typical references!
The Alexander Pedals Quadrant Audio Mirror is therefore a digital delay bringing together no less than 4 types of echo: An emulation of a classic tape echo, a Bucket Brigade mode taking up the character of the first analog pedals, a very straight and clean digital delay (top for the High Gain) and finally a Lo-fi mode full of voluntary imperfections.
The 4 double knobs will offer you a plethora of settings! Most of the controls are quite classic for this type of reference, but the “Glide” knob brings a welcome originality, allowing you to modify the behavior of the echo according to the attack of the strings. Which can be very interesting for Lo-Fi type games.
One of the switches also acts as Tap Tempo, but on this type of pedal you will tell me that it is the least you can do.
Finally, the Quadrant has an Auto Trails feature! You know, this allows echo repetitions to hang around once the pedal is turned off. Note that this Auto Trail feature is configurable!
Like all the pedals in the Neo Series range from Alexander, the Quadrant can be controlled via midi and USB to save presets!
A rather rare reference on the second-hand market, and an excellent alternative to the Pigtronix Constellator
