Fulltone Catalyst

The team's opinion: A second-hand fulltone catalyst! The progenitors of the super OCD are back! Yes and with a very surprising product! A mix of Overdrive, Boost and Fuzz. It may sound surprising, but it works wonderfully. The “Flame” and “Spark” switches make it possible to pass successively from a fat Fuzz to a rather transparent and discreet Overdrive/Boost. From there one can easily imagine the possibilities offered by this effect pedal. In the Fuzz position, the sound is extremely fat and is reminiscent of the first Big Muffs (with perhaps a bit less gain, but much more usable thanks to the frequency control via the mini-knobs). In the Overdrive/Boost position, the saturation is much softer but will allow you to push your tube amp Tubescreamer style. In short, an effective product and rather pleasant to look at.

Collector friends, know that this Fulltone Catalyst is no longer manufactured and is starting to become rare on the second-hand market! It is a safe bet that this reference will increase in value over the years.
