This compressor, designed around a NOS ca3080 IC chip, delivers everything you would expect for this type of effect, but in a mini version. The settings, here reduced to their simplest expression, give a very plug & play side to this pedal. The Level knob will allow you to define the level of compression, when the Sens will allow you to level the attack. The more the latter is pushed, the more the compression will be felt. This compression remains all in all very natural and brings its share of harmonics! If you want to get familiar with this type of effect (or are looking for a compact solution) the Malekko Comp is an essential pedal.
