Let's get to the sound! Let it be said, the Velvet Comp is a rather discreet compression pedal. If you are looking for a typed and extreme compressor, go your way. On the other hand, if you are looking for a miracle effect pedal to enhance your sound, this VLC-1 is for you.

The 3 knobs (level, sustain and attack) will allow you to easily find your sound. This is a rather easy-to-use compressor (unlike theEmpress Compressor). The attack will allow you to gauge the level of compression. At a minimum, only the most extreme attacks will be leveled. The further you push the knob, the greater the compression will be.

The sustain knob allows you to extend the hold of the notes. Even if you decide to use extreme settings, the pedal will remain very transparent and effective, a real treat on single pickups.
