The team's opinion: The Vick Audio Mount Pleasant is a high-quality boutique mid-gain overdrive pedal. This latest, hand-built 100% is based on Marshall's Blues Breaker, but with a little more gain and above all a 3-position switch.
This switch will bring more versatility to the pedal:
The first position will drastically impact the treble, acting as a high pass filter. The second position does not affect the treble at all. Finally the third and last position will act very gradually on the treble with a gentle slope.
Sound level, the pedal is perfectly cut for Blues and Classic Rock. It recalls the sound of Eric Clapton, period “Clapton & the Bluesbreaker”. A random ? I do not think so !
The Vick Audio Mount Pleasant is a very musical overdrive, of great quality and rare on the second-hand market! The pedal offered here is in new condition and sold with its original box.
