The team's opinion: The Way Huge Angry Troll is a boost pedal halfway between boost and overdrive! Basically, a rather interesting effect pedal.

It's not always easy to tell the difference between a boost and an overdrive, but the Way Huge Angry Troll manages it easily! Moreover, as usual with the American brand, the pedal is well finished and rock solid. Moreover, it is very easy to use.

Basically with the volume knob you will increase the … sound volume (yes I am perceptive I know). the little subtlety comes from the notched “Anger” knob. The latter will “dirty” your signal depending on the setting. Ideal for a boost not necessarily super clean.

The pedal works well on a clean channel in “always on” but comes into its own on an already saturated channel. If you are a fan of rocky and vintage sounds, this Angry Troll is for you.

It is a very good alternative to the Jackson Audio Amp Mod.
