Xotic RC Bass

The team's opinion: At Effects Area we are big fans of the Xotic brand. Californians have accustomed us to excellent guitar effects pedals with the BB Preamp or the Sl Drive to name but a few. When we saw the range for bass, we had to jump at the chance! This RC Boost is therefore a mix of very effective clean boost/overdrive. Indeed, our bass friends know it: It is difficult to find a pedal capable of boosting the volume and saturation of the amp without distorting it or losing the low frequencies. The RC Boost turns out to be very surprising because it is almost 2 pedals in 1. Indeed, gain at minimum and volume at 2 p.m., it will naturally push your amp without making any changes to the gain structure. Your sound will instantly be more present and massive without the grain changing. Very useful in an "always on" context or to wake up a lazy amp. However, by increasing the gain of the RC, the pedal will bring warmth, harmonics and especially a part of its grain. A slight natural compression will also appear and the overdrive of the pedal will blend perfectly with your amplifier. In this configuration, the sound is ideal for Punk/Rock bass shots with a pick. And as if that weren't enough, the 2-band EQ is devilishly effective. An essential pedal for bass players looking for a polished sound!
